Over the years we've looked to employ team members from a diverse array of academic and working backgrounds, with the aim to create a close-knit practice offering a unique and personal approach to all our residential & commercial projects. Having qualified from university in 2001, Peter went to work for a large multi-disciplined award winning architectural practice in Manchester, Abbey Holford Rowe (now AHR) gaining valuable experience working with a mix of bluechip clients.
He then went on to work for The Harris Partnership Architects gaining valuable experience working on a wide mix of commercial, retail, industrial and leisure projects with clients such as Travelodge, B&Q, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Homebase, Wicks DIY and Aldi Stores.Whilst the corporate & commercial world has its benefits, his passion for residential architecture has grown over the years and in 2011 he set up PJH Architectural Services.

Our costs will always depend on the type of project and the level of involvement you require from us. To quote figures without knowing the project details would be misleading. Generally, the majority of our projects are either priced on a modest percentage of the anticipated build costs or a fixed lump sum, which is calculated based on our involvement, this ensures that clients have costs certainly from the start of a project.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Joe was great to work with. He was professional and very responsive. He delivered drawings to us when he said he would and he also available on the phone if and when we had a query or a slight amendment. I cannot fault him and I would happily contact him and PJH again for future work. Thank you!

We engaged PJH for a small project at our house involving the removal of a conservatory and creating an open plan kitchen / diner. We selected PJH for their personal approach; Peter came on site to meet us, see the space and provided some initial advice all without charge.
All members of the team we've spoken with were helpful, knowledgeable & we're happy with the end product.
We would use them again without question.

We bought a farm house in Cheshire that we planned to modify extensively, both inside and out. Some of these changes required planning permission. Peter Hoole produced the initial detailed plans, helped us formulate our ideas accurately, found solutions to design problems, managed us through the planning process without drama, and ultimately helped us to find an appropriate builder. His guidance was invaluable, timely and always on target. He's a nice guy too.

Peter listened to what we wanted, made helpful suggestions in a professional and friendly manner. The plans he gave us were fully detailed and had that little bit of creativity we were looking for and he was happy to tweak them as needed. Peter made recommendations of builders when requested. We would use PJH again and recommend them to other people.

Peter and his team provided us with an excellent service when drawing up plans for our kitchen extension last autumn. They took time to really listen to us and understand what we wanted and did a very thorough job. But also gave us the benefit of their knowledge and experience, particularly in relation to what was permitted planning wise and coming up with good ideas to make better use of the space we had.
They were friendly and professional and delivered very clear and useful plans within the timeframe the promised. Plus they were happy to promptly answer the few queries we had. I wouldn’t

I've used PJH Architectural Services on two occasions, and would highly recommend them to anybody!
Initially, Peter assisted with our house extension and did such a fabulous job, we didn't hesitate to engage him when we came to do the cellar conversion 2 years later.
We've subsequently recommended him to friends and family, and he's done a fabulous job for them also.
