We’ve used Melrose since 2016. Always a great service but since COVID-19, they have stepped up and been better than amazing.
Available anytime of the day, still processing payroll and VAT, along with the added furlough system. All this and they also put on hold their fees during these tough times.
Having accountants like Melrose isn’t the cheapest option by any means but I’d rather pay for their services then get stuck in a mess with hmrc or the vat man!
Would 100% recommend

During Covid crisis and for the last 25 years, my partner and I have used Melrose for all our accountancy needs. From Payroll and training to Stock Control and even pub purchases. The service is always professional and you can always contact someone for advise (usually free) once you are a valued customer. Which I can assure you is everyone!
But, during this crisis of lock downs and uncertainty there has always been someone on the phone for payroll and regular updates from department heads about the government aide available to the trade and self employed .

Well, firstly Mike Jones. Pains me to admit he's a very affable chap and nearly always right!!! He's been a great help to my pub business, he talks in simple terms which I'm happy to admit is the only way I can possibly understand so I can most definitely recommend him .
I've also used the Payroll office. Dealing mostly with Abi and she has also given me great guidance, especially with the Covid/Furlough situation.
All in all everyone that I've dealt with at Melrose have been very willing to help with any queries and I'm constantly updated me with emails during the ongoing Covid situation.
