Critical: Professionalism
I walked in and asked for a haircut and noticed that the only two members of staff present weren’t wearing masks. I asked if they were going to wear masks? “Maybe” was the very odd reply. Shan’t go back.

I went for a haircut and shave and the barber was friendly and professional. I highly reccomend as they deliver the service that I wanted which was a clean and classy haircut with a traditional shave.
I will come back again.

If you want the perfect shave....start here. British tradition gives you a better experience with modern razors.

Everyone needs to have a proper shave at least once in their lives. Not exactly cheap but very relaxing and also mindful when they have a customer who is nervous of enclosed spaces (the hot towel made me claustrophobic but they put me at ease)

Just went for a haircut at the barbers here, at the back of Taylor of Old Bond Street (actually on Jermyn Street). Although the shop front is quite pleasant, the barbers in the back doesn't quite have the traditional charm of, say, Geo F Trumper or Truefitt & Hill. It's about the same price though - £37 for a straightforward cut. The actual cut was fine but pretty basic really - I could probably have had the same thing done elsewhere in SW1 for about a third of the price. Given that it didn't really have the atmosphere of Trumper's (on Curzon Street) or Truefitt & Hill I'm really not sure I'd
