You can post your prescription to Gees Pharmacy or tell us which surgery the prescription can be collected from. We also use the NHS electronic prescription service which sends us your nominated prescription via a safe encrypted electronic system. Delivery is free of charge and will be done via delivery team or Royal Mail's Registered Post services depending on your requirements.
Registered Post is a signed for service. Remember to tell us your contact details so one of the pharmacists can contact you to discuss the prescription if required. If it is a new item on the prescription or you are unsure about something, our pharmacists will be delighted if you would like to contact us first to discuss the issue.

Services
Gees Pharmacy is long established, and has been used by the same family members for generations. Gee's Pharmacy was originally set up in 1974 in Kew, Richmond, Surrey to take over an established pharmacy dating back to 1890. In 1981 a wholesale company was formed to supply pharmaceuticals to the London area.
For an NHS prescription (both from a doctor, dentist or other prescriber) the fee is 9.00 per item unless you are exempt from paying charges. If you are not certain whether you are exempt one of our pharmacy team will be able to advise you. You can email, fax or post your prescription to us to discuss any issues you may have before dispensing, but please note we require the original before dispensing.
The electronic prescription service enables prescribers - such as GPs and practice nurses - to send prescriptions electronically to the pharmacy of your patient choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff. If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription.
Here at Gees Pharmacy these NHS funded consultations are offered free of charge for our patients. We now have a warm and inviting professional consultation room here at Gees Pharmacy and would be delighted if you would like to visit us, by prior arrangement, for your Medicines Use Review (MUR) or New Medicine Service (NMS) consultation.
Here at Gees Pharmacy we already provide many care and nursing homes with medication through the Biodose system. The Biodose system provides a single system for administering solid oral tablets and capsules, together with liquid medications, making Biodose the first system capable of delivering a complete solution to drug administration within the care home environment.
