Campbell & Kennedy
Gerry also headed Campbell & Kennedy Ltd at that time. C & K Ltd was a long-established Technology Sector business that designed and installed Communal TV Systems and had diversified into the Electrical and Fire Protection/Security sector. It had become clear that there was a separate niche for the maintenance sector and Gerry wanted an autonomous set-up that could offer maintenance plans to C & K ltd customers and provide peace of mind against system breakdowns.

Bespoke maintenance plans were also developed for individual household customers who wanted quick responses and a professional service for their own TV Aerial and satellite systems and to ensure continuous un-interrupted viewing.
Services
Established in 2004, Campbell & Kennedy Maintenance is an award-winning family business focused on the Technology sector. With a wide range of solutions and support for both public and private sector organisations. We hold multiple external accreditations and operate across the UK. Our team can assist with many of your day to day needs from aerial/satellite installations and maintenance to home security.
The Scottish Government has committed to providing superfast broadband access - speeds of at least 30Mbps - to every home and business in Scotland. Unique in the UK, the Reaching 100% (R100) programme builds on the success of the DSSB programme and will ensure universal superfast broadband access.
Homes and businesses with broadband speeds of less than 100Mbps can use vouchers to support the cost of installing new gigabit-capable connections when part of a group scheme. Group projects are when two or more residents and/or SMEs get together to combine their vouchers towards the shared cost of installation.
An Integrated Reception Systems (IRS) allows you to deliver multiple signals from an array of antennas, a typical system would include a TV aerial, FM, DAB aerials and, Satellite antenna which is then distributed normally via coaxial cabled to multiple viewing points, or a residents accommodation.
Fiber optics is the technology used to transmit the information as pulses of light through strands of fiber made of glass or plastic over long distances. Optical fibers are about the diameter of a strand of human hair and when bundled into a fiber-optic cable, they're capable of transmitting more data over longer distances and faster than other mediums.
