Services
DNA Metalwork are experts in laser cutting with over 23 flat-bed laser machines (including high speed cutting fibre lasers) available in-house. Our extensive metal profiling capacity enables us to offer a variety of cost-effective laser cutting services including sheet, plate, tube and box section to customers nationwide, whether it's for small components or large batch orders.
We specialise in plasma cutting which is an efficient profiling method for stainless steel, mild and carbon steels as well as aluminium components. Our state-of-the-art high definition plasma cutting technology has a large format cutting area of 25m x 5m with twin cutting head capability, allowing high speed and cost effective cutting of components up to 50mm thick.
Waterjet cutting is one of the fastest growing methods of profiling due to its incredible precision and no heat affected zone (HAZ). With three waterjet cutting machines available in-house, our 7.3m x 2.4m machine is capable of cutting materials up to 200mm thick and has the capability to produce highly complex shapes.
Using profiles produced by our in-house laser and waterjet cutting divisions, we can work with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper at our Rotherham based manufacturing facility, near Sheffield. With 18 press brakes available in-house, including 2 640 tonne robotic press brakes, we have the capability to press parts up to 7.2m wide and 60mm thick.
DNA Metalwork has the capacity to provide a wide range of Stainless Steel parts and assemblies at our state-of-the-art facility. We continue to provide high-quality Sheet Metalwork services to our customers. Stainless Steel is a corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy and is used in a variety of different industries, including Hospitality, Medical, Architectural, Pharmaceutical, Offshore and Construction to name but a few.
