We are a Quality Secured accredited Centre by the National Trailer & Towing Association (NTTA). We having been provided towbar fitting service for over 30 years, so we have a vast amount of experience to help you make the right choice. We also meet with the high standards recognised by the Caravan & Motorhome Club and The Caravan & Camping Club.
We offer a selection of trailers suitable for a range of purposes and lifestyles. From general purpose trailers ideal for transporting cargo and waste to camping trailers and trailers for business use, you'll be sure to find a model to suit your needs. We also have a selection of trailers available for hire, perfect if you need to make a run to the local waste centre or collect a large item from a store.
We have a wide selections of trailers for hire, available for anything from 1 day trailer hire to long term hire. Please select the type of hire trailer you require for further information and prices. First time hirers will need a valid driving licence, utility bill dated within the last 60 days and a credit/debit card in the same name as the driving licence.
We supply and fit ladder racks, rear door ladders, roof racks and bars for all cars and commercial vehicles. We only use the best products from Van Guard and Thule. Please call for more information. Note : If the roof box of your choice is not available we reserve the right to make a suitable substitution.

I recently hired a box trailer (BT10). From the initial phone call to check for availability and from collection to return the staff were brilliant. The trailer was in great condition and I was given a spare wheel in case of an emergency. They hitched the trailer for me and gave me a demonstration. They made a plate for the trailer to keep everything road legal.

Rang Wednesday and spoke to Jamie who provided a good quote. He agreed to come to my house the next day to fit a detachable towbar onto my BMW 320d that I was picking up that morning. However, my payment was delayed so it caused the whole day to be late. Jamie came to see me at the dealership and was very understanding. He came to my house with Craig and they explained what they had to do. They were quick and tidy. Good lads. No problems as far as I can see. Spot on. Cheers fellas.

Terrible customer experience. Had a tow bar fitted, but they disconnected the front and rear parking sensors. They came back to fix the parking sensors but when I came to use the tow bar for the first time, the electrics were dead. After many phone call attempts they promised to come and fix the electrics but did not show up. Didn't respond to texts. So I now have to find another firm that will fix the problem. If I needed any towbar work doing in the future I would not touch this business with a barge pole, as they have no concept of customer service.

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. When fitting a tow bar they broke the handle mechanism for the rear door of my vehicle which meant that it couldn't open. When I pointed it out they said it was already broken - it wasn't. I explained that I was now on my way to collect my disabled child and needed the door for access, even when I showed them his blue badge they still refused to help or accept any responsibility . They locked up their shop and drove off leaving me there on the pavement completely stranded. Trust me, there are other tow bar and roof rack companies. This one doesn

Have been dealing with the boys at Manchester Towbars and trailers for years and never had any problems. They always seem to be able to solve any problems I might present to them. Told you guys. Mr "perfect, know it all" cannot admit he has done wrong again. So annoying to see how he is trying to shift the blame and portrait yourself as Mr innocent. My wife is the most genuine person you'll ever meet. A medical consultant who just wanted to fit tow-bar for our new Caravan and this guy gave her such a hard time. The reality is that we have paid him hundreds of pounds to do the job and he has done it wrong. He then charged us for the check instead of refunding us for the wrong tow bar and for the aggravation we had to go through when picking the Caravan with the wrong tow
