Services
Our staff ratio for qualified staff is 1:3 for babies aged 3 months to 2 years old, 1:4 for 2 - 3 year olds and 1:8 for 3 - 5 year olds. We also accommodate students who are working towards childcare qualifications and offer an apprentice scheme. At Cheeky Monkeys Two Day Nursery our staff ratio's are kept above the legal requirement to ensure all our children's needs are met.

The nursery allows the children to make their own decisions, in small matters, wherever possible in order to enable them to develop self awareness and responsibility together with a sense of self worth and independence.
There are approx 135 children registered at Cheeky Monkeys. We take children from 3 months to 5 years. Each child is individually assessed and they are gradually moved up into classes 1 & 2 which aims to prepare them for school. Our staff ratio for qualified staff is 1:3 for babies aged 3 months to 2 years old, 1:4 for 2 - 3 year olds and 1:8 for 3 - 5 year olds.
Extended hours are offered at the rate of J5 per half hour and J10 for a hour and must be booked before the day or days required if possible. We are very lucky to boast our very own chef, who prepares fresh food daily in our kitchen. Marta Wojcinska is our head cook. Children aged 0-5 will all follow the Early Years Foundations Stage curriculum set out by DfES.
By completing and submitting the enrolment form means that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions as laid out on this website. The fee's are payable every fortnight and a two week deposit is payable when accepting your child's place. A minimum of two sessions per week must be requested.

My 4 year old daughter loved it here, she was well looked after by all the staff especially by Clair (special thank you) and from what I have observed, all the staff are loving and caring towards all the children entrusted in their care. My daughter's self confidence, enthusiasm for learning and independence has grown in the year that she was there. Undoubtedly, one of the best day nurseries in Bedford. Have recommended to my all friends, family and associates. A+ Very grateful Elena xox

Excellent nursery providing high quality and attentive child care, especially during Covid. My daughter has enjoyed her stay here & always looked forward to it every weekday mornings. The staff here are all very caring, polite & take pride in what they do. A big thank you to Sam, Clair, Bethany, Anita, Marta, Angelica, Louise and everyone else at Cheeky Monkeys Two. Highly recommended to everyone.
