I thought the trip went really well. All the staff was really interested with explaining what their job roles was. It was really interesting how we did the blind smell test - how we smell different flavours. How the coffee being roasted was fascinating how it turned different colours through the roasting process.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we let you know of the passing of our father, friend, companion and colleague, Brian Layton. Companion to Catherine's and Angie's mother, Susan, who was also most recently, for want of another word, his carer. Friend of too many people to list here, but notably John Rowcroft, who he worked with over 40 years ago, and continued to see socially on a very regular basis.

Recently upgraded to Sage Barista pro and was getting a terrible brew (max 18 secs and bitter) and assumed it was because of supermarket beans.
Got local fresh roasted beans and voila! 17.5g beans yielded 33g of espresso over 33sec of brew time.
Amazing service and great coffee beans Qualitasse Coffee in Basingstoke UK.
Ask for Andrew the roaster. He Made an espresso to taste every blend. And made me a latte to taste too.
