Horwich Carpets was founded in 1959 by Walter Davies, a larger than life character with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep pride for his Boltonian roots.
Starting out as a small carpet shop in central Horwich, Walter supplied carpets to most of the local community, many of whom worked at the famous Loco Works. Walters son Russell along with his wife Jean joined the business in the 1970s and the store continued to thrive becoming one of the most well-known and respected carpet and flooring shops in the North West.

Horwich Carpets have supplied and fitted all but one of our carpets (the oldest!) and fitted Kardean flooring to the hall and kitchen/garden room.
They will offer any help and advice that is required, will order and store items whilst other work is completed and have fantastic fitters for both carpets and flooring.
Nothing is too much trouble. A great company to deal with.
