A1 Stairlifts has recently extended and refurbished its showroom on 56 South Street Keighley, West Yorkshire. The showroom now also features a beautiful gallery of artwork from renowned, local artist J.Mackie which are available to buy.

Straight stairlifts are the best solution when your staircase doesn't have corners, turns or additional landing areas and straight stairlifts are cheaper than other types of stairlift. My wife is having a foot operation soon. We still have her late father's stairlift but it hasn't been used for 8 years. I knew the power supply was blown so ordered a replacement. I was advised by A1 to also get new batteries. Ordered on the Tuesday afternoon, arrived mid morning the following day. Brilliant service. Took me no time at all to… replace the batteries and wire up the power supply. An afternoon on charge and it is working again. Excellent price as well. Combined the cost was far less than what I was quoted a number of years ago when I looked at just replacing the power supply

Update - 15/11/16 - thank you for sorting the refund for my parents - really appreciate your help.

My mom had her stairlift fitted 12 months ago and it broke down in April, when it was in warranty, the day she had it fitted we had to call the engineers back because they didn't, t screw the rail down properly, they also never left the tool to wind it up or down in case it got stuck, when it broke down we had to be told over the phone what to do,… my mother is 89yrs old and got stuck upstairs. It did they same thing on Saturday but it wouldn't move this time, when they were telephoned the said that they cannot come out it Monday, we struggled to get my mother downstairs where she spent
