One of the most important questions we are asked! We understand that budgets are important which is why as professional will writers we are very competitively priced against solicitors, despite offering a professional and bespoke service. There are two types of LPA - a property and financial affairs version and a health and welfare version.
Services
Once you ask us to prepare your will we will send you a pre meeting questionnaire. This is to get you to think about the issues involved and for you to get names and addresses ready etc. You can see our pre meeting questionnaire on the Downloads page. Our first meeting will be to ensure we get all the facts and to be careful that you have not overlooked any aspect of your will planning.
Wills are powerful documents. They should be used to the full, as they are often the only place to organise things for when you die. Executors Who will take care of all the practical things when you die? You can use one person, but it is advisable to have at least one in reserve, if not two. Trustees It is common for a will to create a trust situation - for example, when children need to wait for a gift or legacy.
Not signed or witnessed A professional will writer will see the whole process through from start to finish, and this includes ensuring the will is signed and witnessed properly. Gifts or legacies failing It can be easy to say that your house will go to someone, and tempting to write the address of the property you are gifting.
Most people know what a will writer does - they make wills! Most people know what a will is supposed to do - it sorts things out after you die. However, how many people know how they work, or how they create wills? Different types. Solicitors are the most easily recognised type of will writer. They have been writing wills for hundreds of years.
It may be obvious to many people, but will writers are still challenged over why some people even need to consider a will. Here are some simple examples to show you why. 1. Who is going to pick up the pieces after you die? A will is a legal document that gives another person, or people, the right to take care of all the paperwork and necessary things after you die.

Oliver is professional, diligent and patient. He helped me get my personal affairs in order with both a will and lasting power of attorney. He provided continued advice to me throughout the process and i do believe its worth every penny to get these things right. He offered a very competitive price, maximised use of technology and even organised a very convenient video signing (useful for the times!). Can't recommend him and the team enough.

Oliver provided a thoroughly professional service, from initial enquiry through to final documentation provided. What we assumed to be complicated details, he simplified and turned into layman terms.
