It has always been Chris' dream to work with animals, and although he has had a variety of previous roles, within customer service, recruitment, and the mortgage industry, this ambition has never left him. Due to a change in circumstances, the opportunity arose for him to fulfil this lifelong dream.
I have used this service recently, leaving our 2 lively demanding dogs for a weekend. Our dogswere visited 3 times a day, walked twice daily. Having never used a pet sitting service before, I was unsure of what to expect and to what extent the sitter could bear in mind our particular routines.
However my mind was put at rest as efforts were made to visit our dogs twice before leaving for the weekend, there were plenty of questions about the dogs likes/dislikes, behaviours, temperaments, normal routines etc.On our return, the dogs seemed happy, well exercised, healthy, and the dog area was cleaner than when we left it!

Chris built a wonderful rapport with our two rescue dogs, and they have clearly enjoyed their walks with him. We recently lost our old girl, and I wanted to comment on great communication, tailoring walks to her fading abilities, and understanding of the needs of our younger, energetic boy, Billy. We are so pleased, the relationship is everything 🐕

I highly recommend Huddersfield Pet Sitters. This is the first time I have used this type of care for my cat Billy as he is usually very timid around new people. Victoria is very efficient and professional and even sent me photos each day to let me know Billy was happy. Reasonable prices too..very impressed.

Cannot tell you how good these people are, Daisy is so happy to see Victoria when she picks her up then returns like she's had the time of her life. HPS bend over backwards to help in any way that they can and are always professional in the way that they act. Texts and videos if you want showing just how much the dogs are enjoying themselves, I would recommend them without hesitation. These people take the time to ensure that your dogs are looked after and are not just people who walk dogs

I can’t recommend Victoria and Chris highly enough. Our 4 year old collie has always been nervous around people and other dogs but he was so relaxed around Chris and Victoria when they first met him. We really wanted him to socialise with other dogs so they gradually introduced him to some of the dogs they walk and I’m delighted to say that he’s now got some great doggie friends! They genuinely love the dogs they walk and treat them as their own. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our boy.

This is an absolutely fantastic service. I was so worried about going on holiday and leaving my three cats as I’ve never left them before but I needn’t have worried as they had the best possible care and I was sent regular updates and photos which put my mind at rest. I came home to three very happy cats. I highly recommend this service and I will certainly be using it again.
