At Nakhon Thai we use these ingredients to make a selection of popular Thai dishes.

Really nice food in a pretty location out on the Docks. Lots of vegan options too. Everything tasted fresh and service was super quick. All the beancurd dishes are great and the mango sticky rice is a delicious dessert!

Lovely place to have dinner. Itā€™s best to reserve a place if going in the evening as it gets very busy. The food is brilliant from starters to the mains and dessert. Location is nice too. The only thing that probably needs a refurb are the toilets.

Really nice Thai restaurant. Totally recommend their Cashew nut and tofu Pad Thai, itā€™s divine! Their cocktails are also super tasty, my new favourite is the Hawaiian one. All the waiters and waitresses were super kind and friendly, they provided one of the best services Iā€™ve ever had. The only improvement Iā€™d suggest is put someone nicer at the door. The guy who was there yesterday (Thursday) wasnā€™t very welcoming. He made a face when we said we havenā€™t booked places (we were only 2) and sounded like we werenā€™t welcome.

The two stars is for the amazing location, beautifully decorated venue and service which was also great.
The food, however, was quite disappointing. Although the presentation was pretty and the portions are really good, the starters were mediocre at best (only liked their spring rolls). The mains looked appetising but I personally wasnā€™t a fan of their Pad Thai either.
I read really great reviews so maybe thatā€™s why I was underwhelmed.

Went there on 23rd of August 2021 with my family. This is another restaurant I had been meaning to go for some time. Location is really nice, beautiful scenery. Not great for parking though, and not ideally located for public transport. Saying that, we parked about 2 minutes walk away on Docks Road.
It was extremely busy for a Tuesday night, though it got emptier after around 8.30pm. staff were friendly and attentive. The waiter we had was an extremely polite and helpful young man. Gave us great suggestions when we needed it. Table decor could do with some creativity, white table covers noways

An amazing dining experience with a waterfront view. The food was delicious! From the fiery temple mocktail to the prawn sakuna, it was tasty and very pleasant. Food came quick and the staff were friendly. If you fancy some oriental food in an exotic location, Nakhon Thai is worth visiting!

My husband took me out here for our wedding anniversary it was such a romantic date night. The atmosphere is amazing. Love the decor. Fast service and food was delicious. I loved every minute of it and so did my husband. We had a waterfront view while dining which made the experience beautiful. They made our anniversary special with the dessert that said happy 3rd anniversary loved how much effort the put in it and loved the sparkler. Everything was amazing.

Duck was ok. Pad Thai and special fried rice were lacklustre and missing flavour. Shakes were good. Satay was missing relish and peanut sauce was more of a dry paste. Service was excellent. Ambiance and location were nice with a good view.

We ordered four dishes last night. I would say the portion of the Fried pine apple rice is generous. The rice wasnā€™t quite match with what we expected. It seems like too much turmeric powder and lack of pine apple flavour.
What i appreciated is the sea bass and sweet chill deep fried fish. Also the flavour morning glory was good.
And the mango sticky rice is not very authentic, the mango is not sweet even a bit sour. My friends quite like the sticky rice but myself i didnt agreed.
Anyway worth to try this restaurant.

Polite, clean and focused mainly on the most traditional meals. Price vs quality vs dish diversity is well balanced.

Took my mum here on a Sunday. It was lovely and quitr and we got a seat in the window. I had a banana smoothy which was yum. Can't really rememebr what we are but I wasn't disappointed ( like some of the reviews read). It was decent standard food. The staff were lovely and attentive. It was a little cold were we sat but that was my only complaint.

We had the two course fixed menu option- wow was there a lot of food. We likely could have fed another 3-4 people with the quantity!

Everything was excellent- the curry was a tad spicy for many, but was so flavorful. The place was packed, and was far too stuffy and hot, but I would return!!!

So overpriced and overrated. Drinks were okay, we got a piƱa colada and my boyfriend got a zombie, both were decent. Get this, the pad Thai was bland. For a Thai restaurant I was expecting a much better chicken pad Thai. The beef dish we had was good, can't remember the name now. Service was so slow and overall awful, and the manager was so rude when we first walked in. Definitely take your business elsewhere next time.

Very good Thai menu. Looked promising, food could have been just a little touch better, but the Team is very friendly, supportive and the atmosphere is chilling. So if you're around dock lands and you like Thai food, n'joy. It's worth and the cocktails are worth a try!

This is a review based on UberEats delivery.

Nakhong Thai is one of few Oriental restaurants that the delivery services in the Canary Wharf area will deliver from. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the calamari and pineapple fried rice.

Calamari: Decent, but soggy by the time it arrived at my flat.

Pineapple Fried Rice: The worst I have ever had. It's bland, the pineapple is not sweet, the chicken tasted old/fishy and the rice is too wet/mushy.

I definitely will not be ordering from this establishment again.

This place is a very hit and miss place. Sometimes when you order it is the most beautiful thai food you could ever have. And sometimes it is the worst you can think of. I still take the chance because i like the food most of the time. The restaurant is an excellent location.

Walked in on a Friday night and they were able to accommodate is rather quickly (thank you to the people who cancelled last minute). Our server was very helpful when ordering. All the dishes we ordered were fantastic. The only down side was the Thai Iced tea- it was a little watery. Would definitely come back again.

This could be a great neighborhood restaurant. Open hours at Yelp are wrong, on Sunday they close at 10 pm. We arrived at 9 pm and the hostess looked at his watch hesitating if he should let us in. We sat in a beautiful table, live music in a classy ambiance, but right away a waiter came and told us to order in a hurry because they were about to close (this is at 9:04). We ordered two soups (7.90 each), a beef entree and a side rice. After 20 minutes all the food were served at the same time, when we finished the soups the beef entree was already cold. Portions are small. Food is ok. Wine prices

My family stayed in a hotel about a quarter mile away, so this restaurant was really in a good location. On the walk there, we decided to take out, and from then on everything went downhill.

We came in through the side entrance, which really was our fault, but they still didn't notice my mom and I after a while. They, when they did, they hurriedly directed us to the main entrance, which looked like the entrance of an alleyway. We looked at the menu, which was actually really nice, and ordered to the person waiting for us.

Now, I don't know if they know this, but workers are supposed

I'm happy this exists next to Wakeup Docklands, because I sure love me some Thai food after wakeboarding. And as other reviews have said, this is some of the best Thai food I've had in London...with some of the worst service. And the bad is pretty varied. Sometimes they don't want to help you. Sometimes they're just really slow. Sometimes they forget things. But...I don't care once the food shows up. It's delicious. I'll go back repeatedly.

Great food- very authentic, they don't tone it down for the west like most Thai restaurants.. Quantities are quite small though and dishes like pla manao which are meant to be a whole fish was like a fillet.. Service is quite sketchy though!

Nakhon Thai is my literal local, being 50 meters from where I live. Having said that I've only been two or three times as to be honest, it's pretty lazy to eat out within site of your front-door :)

The Restaurant itself is a pretty little thing that is situated facing the Royal Victoria Dock. There are two floors, the bottom floor being for larger groups usually and the smaller top floor being for couples usually. Upstairs it is candles and decoration and a great view over the deep blue water of the dock and the 'Beach' that gives the nearby Apartment building Western Beach
