Services
Moray Orthodontics in Elgin aims to provide an outstanding service and strives to continually improve on its provision of braces for children, adults and referring dentists in the North of Scotland. We use the latest approach, equipment and materials to achieve the most perfect outcome in optimum time.
With a variety of modern orthodontic treatments and a wide range of braces we can help you achieve a beautiful smile. Metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces you have the option of adding coloured elastics for a more unique and colourful smile.

Clear braces are an attractive alternative for many adults and older teenagers as they are discreet and almost invisible so you can feel confident during treatment.Invisalign is the clear alternative to braces. Rather than wearing one brace over a period of time, the Invisalign system uses a series of removable clear aligners.
Invisalign is the clear alternative to braces. Rather than wearing one brace over a period of time, the Invisalign system uses a series of removable, clear aligners. Before treatment begins a virtual 3d plan will be created (Clincheck treatment plan). You will be able to view how your teeth will move throughout the course of treatment and see what the finished result will look like.
Due to NHS restrictions some patients can no longer be treated free of charge under the NHS system because their dental irregularity is not considered severe enough when compared against the IOTN (Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need) set out by the Scottish Government. For those patients who don't qualify but still feel they would benefit from treatment we offer a selffunded option called "Budget Braces".
NHS treatment is available for most children under 18 years of age. Under current regulations, to qualify for NHS orthodontic treatment, you must be registered as an NHS patient with your dentist. Your dentist will refer you for an NHS consultation. Being referred to an orthodontist does not mean that orthodontic treatment will be provided under the NHS.
