I’ve visited this wonderful antique shop several times over the years and always found it an enchanting experience. Unique items carefully and tastefully selected by Dan definitely stand out from the others available in Sussex. Collection is ever changing, and covers pretty much all tastes and price ranges. I bought an absolutely amazing mirror last month. This is VERY special and a must for antique lovers.

My favourite shop in Brighton and probably the UK!
The owner Dan is very helpful and has an eye for buying beautiful lighting and furniture from the mid century. The main bonus is that its priced sensibly too! I have bought lots of items for interior projects and they are all unusual and stunning. A real hidden treasure so get on down there if you haven't been!

Wow... breath takingly beautiful pieces and what an amazing service, we felt so welcome at the store and Dan went out of his way to help us find some amazing new furniture and lighting for our home. The personal touch is something which has been lost in today's big business world but Moderne still has that special intimate feel. A really lovely experience all round, Thankyou and we love our purchases!

On arrival at the delightful shop which is Moderne in Brighton, I was immediately intrigued by the pieces on display, especially the pineapple ice buckets! Danny (the owner) certainly has the eye for Mid Century & Regency Hollywood gems, which are as unique as they are beautiful.
