Bury St Edmunds Osteopaths
Established in 1983, Bury St Edmunds Osteopaths is the longest established Osteopathic practice in the area with 5 clinically trained Osteopaths, 2 Sports Therapists, an Acupuncturist and a Practice Manager. Our combined knowledge and expertise, enables us to offer a balanced approach to health and wellbeing- treating the whole person and not just the symptoms.

Osteopathy is a method of assessing, treating and preventing a wide range of health problems. Osteopaths use a combination of movement, stretching, targeted deep tissue massage and manipulation of a person's muscles and joints to improve function, relieve pain and aid recovery. Our clinic operates from The Barn, a beautiful new building in the heart of Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, with easy access and ample parking.

Experience and confidence with Sports Therapy and sports massage, injury assessment, treatment and exercise rehabilitation in a clinic setting.
Osteopathy treats the whole person and can provide relief from a wide range of conditions. By helping to ensure the entire body is working in balance, Osteopathic treatment can reduce swelling and inflammation, improve mobility and relieve pain. Imbalances or Trauma in the musculoskeletal system can result in conditions that may manifest later on in life.
Back pain does not simply produce pain in the back, often it may cause symptoms in more remote areas such as the buttocks, groin, hips, and legs (commonly called sciatica). Problems in the spine and neck can also cause symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, clicking jaw, pins and needles and many more.
Occupational injuries account for many millions of working days lost each year in Britain. No matter whether your work is in the office or outside on the land you need to be able to cope with the individual demands made on your body by the style of work you do.

Manual work inevitably carries the inherent risk of injury caused by heavy and often awkward lifting, overstretching, and periods of prolonged bending causing back and disc injuries, sciatica, and muscle strains. In the office where desk work is more common, there are the dangers of 'computer hump' and 'mouse wrist', whilst frequent telephone use affects the neck and shoulders causing headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome etc.

Thank you Maud. I have had a long period of back pain and coping with regular flare ups that leave me tired and emotional. First session today and already feel significant relief with lots of easy, practical ideas to help at home. A great experience from start to finish and worth every penny. I also want to single out the warm and friendly lady on reception who made me feel at ease immediately. A heart felt thank you to you all!

I first started getting treatments from Charlotte back early in 2019. As a fitness professional and athlete, I realise the benefits of having regular treatments to maintain and improve my health. The team are truly brilliant and really care. They have helped me a great deal, in particular Charlotte has spent some time and effort correcting some lower body imbalances, to great affect! I highly recommend these guys.
