Services
Highland Asbestos Services provide Management Asbestos Surveys that are in line with the HSG264 guidelines produced by The Health and Safety Executive. The purpose of Management Asbestos Survey reports are to help manage asbestos in your premises.
The asbestos Management Survey provides accurate information on the location, amount and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACM's) and assesses the level of damage or deterioration in the ACM's and whether remedial action is required.
The asbestos Management Survey provides accurate information on the location, amount and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACM's) and assesses the level of damage or deterioration in the ACM's and whether remedial action is required.
By the mid 1900s it was used in many building products (Asbestos Containing Materials - ACM's) and extensively in the construction industry. Although its use has been banned from 1999 there are millions of premises that still contain asbestos. Asbestos is not a threat to health unless an asbestos containing material (ACM) becomes damaged or is in poor condition.
If you have responsibility for building maintenance, or work in buildings that may contain asbestos, you will need to have the right training to be fully aware of your legal responsibilities and to allow you to manage or work safely. Our courses are specifically designed to ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the Approved Code of Practice.
