It was great to there with the family especially with it being Christmas they had a Santa experience which was great, meet Santa tell him what you want for Christmas, take a tractor ride to the farm to meet and feed the Reindeer and chose your own early Christmas present. They also have a nice cafe and Christmas shop.

Beautiful house and grounds especially at this time of the year with the trees. We came to see the deer. The permissive path is closed as its rutting season, but we could see the deer from a distance. There were plenty of families enjoying the pumpkin trail. The homeware shop sells beautiful things. Very well run place.

This is a review of the House and Grounds as there is a separate Google entry for the Cafe and Farm shop.
The house and grounds are definitely worth a visit and real value for money. Allow plenty of time as there is more to see than you would expect.
Our children are older now, but the play park looked good for younger children; the walled gardens are beautiful and the House is very interesting. The staff are very friendly and really add value to the experience.

The admission is quite expensive, a lovely hall and the gardens are beautiful. The best time to come is near Christmas when they have deer feeding, you ride in a trailer at the back of a tractor and scatter food for the deer, the children loved it, so did we - so much better than Christmas shopping. Talking of which there is an excellent Christmas craft fair where you can pick up some great individual gifts. Nearby Triton Inn does a wonderful Sunday lunch.

An elegant country stately home build in the 18th century.
The admission price is fairly expensive comapred to other stately homes but if you are in the area try and make a visit.
There are beautiful walled garden with some lovely roses, fruit bushes and herbaceous border.
Entrance to the house is through the Wagoners Museum and there is a cafe serving local produce on your way out.
