We have 500 playing members and offer excellent bowls and social facilities all year round. We have a modern 8 rink green with viewing area, a refurbished lounge and bar where we serve food and drinks. It is an all inclusive mixed club that caters for all ages from 8 years upwards. The club has a flourishing disabled section which includes provision for visually impaired and wheelchair users.
We offer inter club competitions and friendlies, a variety of daytime and evening leagues, bowls drives and casual bowling. There is free Sunday morning coaching and a free trial session for anyone who wants to try this unique sport. Our newly refurbished bowls hall has received many positive comments from members and visitors alike.

Services
We are a members club and daily tasks are carried out by the membership for the membership. Any profit made by the club is used for maintenance and improvement of club facilities. First year membership is only 25 and rink fees are presently 2.70p for a 2 hour session at members rate. Non members pay 5.00p.
Whether you are new to the club or new to bowling we will issue a starter pack containing a card entitling you to free rink fees for 3 sessions, club information leaflet and a temporary membership card. If you decide to continue after the initial 3 sessions we will allow a special membership rate of 2 for each remaining complete month left in that year.
Charnwood Indoor Bowls Club is strongly committed to encouraging our members to take part, but the health, well-being and safety of each individual is always our paramount concern. We recommend levels of training dependent on age and ability, and expect our junior athletes to participate within these boundaries.
This is a very prestigious award and we are one of the few clubs to gain it. Our club has in place relevant inclusion policies, a 'Safeguarding Officer' and qualified coaches. Within the club we have a growing number of bowlers with a range of disabilities (physical, sensory and learning difficulties).
All Team Captains will need to book their players for each league game on 07745 773379 or by email. We will email every member with an email address a renewal document and the other 99 members will have theirs hand delivered. To avoid queues payment by card will be taken in the lounge on designated days to be advised.
