Loch Ken Holiday Park
In 1970 a new family business was created by Mr & Mrs Mungo Bryson, who were at the time working on and tending to their family farm - 'Boreland of Parton'. Mr & Mrs Bryson made the decision to officially open one of their loch side fields to campers.

Over a period of 40 years, what began as a country side haven for camping enthusiasts, has been developed and has become home to a fleet of static caravan holiday homes both for sale and to let, as well as providing a warm welcome to many families in touring caravans, motor homes, camper vans and tents.

Clean toilets and showers, plenty of space and very peaceful. On a clear night the stars are amazing. A phone camera doesn't do it justice

We were here for 3 days what a lovely place. Right next to loch ken my husband and grandchildren loved the fishing. My oldest grandson who is constantly stuck to his playstation. Was constantly outside in the massive grassed area playing with his little 4 year old brother.it was so nice to see them reconnect again. Toilets and showers where clean I especially loved the toilet being inside your shower cubicle. It was so good for me being that bit older. The caretaker Andy was such a lovely polite person and very helpful. Great place

Really friendly staff. Facilities were spotlessly clean. Had a good couple of hours on the Loch in a canoe.
Washing up water needed to be a bit hotter but other than that couldn't fault it.

Absolutely brilliant park in a lovely location. Not a lot of facilities like larger parks but this adds to its nice relax atmosphere. Kids loved the option of hiring kayak.
Nice to see fair pricing instead of all the inflated prices other sites have decided to charge because of covid.

I spent 3 nights camping at Loch Ken Holiday Park with my wife, kids and dog.
We were able to get a fantastic water side pitch so launching kayaks and paddle boards was a doddle. Ideal for fishing.
The site was really peaceful and quiet, the facilities were excellent with nice hot showers and clean toilets.
The onsite shop is really handy and the staff were extremely friendly.
The loch and general area is stunning and wild.
I'd definitely recommend this campsite for families.
My only complaint was having to take rubbish to the skip across the road from main entrance. But I understand this

Absolutely amazing campsite. We have been coming here for years and the site is as well cared for as ever. Even though it has expanded over the years it has still retained its charm and the feel of a true camping experience as opposed to the more commercial sites. Lots to do for adults, children and dogs. We have just spent a pleasant 10 days kayaking, fishing and walking the red kite trial. We only used the car on a couple of occasions to stock up on provisions, this campsite really does have everything right on its doorstep. 🏕🎣

Lovely location, most staff friendly. Owner is incredibly rude, doesn't seem to know how to talk to people in the correct manner. Toilet/shower blocks weren't great, I can understand a bit of grass/water being in there but the main male toilet block lacked soap during our whole stay which is completely unacceptable, especially with covid around. Wouldn't recommend this site, would recommend the location though

A better place to spend quality family time I cant think of. The lake is warm enough to swim even at 10 pm. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The vibe is relaxed .

Been coming here for 6+ yesterday spring and summer. Beautiful, peaceful place. Great for kids with wide open spaces and lovely Loch to paddleboard, swim or just sit and enjoy. Really friendly staff and owners, immaculate facilities and hardly any midges. A real gem of a place, enjoy!
