For those projects that require recording on location, BLS has a 24-track hardware mobile recording system. This is an ideal solution for bands and music groups requiring a live recording at their own rehearsal venue, solo musicians wishing to record in a specific acoustic environment, or school, choir and other music groups wanting a recording of their performance.
Blue Lizard Studio uses the latest professional editing software to enable the detailed analysis and manipulation of digital audio. If you need audio tracks to be altered or seamlessly edited (e.g. for dance events, school or theatrical performances etc.), or bespoke sound design/creation of sound effects for your project, BLS can edit material to suit your specific requirements.
Blue Lizard Studio is the private project studio of Richard Davidson-Guiraud, who operates all of BLS's aspects of recording and engineering. The compact studio can accommodate up to four visitors at a time and consists of a control room and an adjacent isolation booth, specially treated to create an acoustically neutral recording space (ideal for the clean recording of vocalists).

If contacting by phone and you are put through to my voicemail, please leave a message and a contact number and I will get back to you as soon as possible - I usually have my mobile phone switched off when working in the studio!
When tracks are recorded they are usually captured as cleanly as possible, with little or no use of EQ or processing. This allows decisions regarding the tonal shaping of sounds and the application of effects to be taken freely in the mixing stage, enabling a wider choice of possibilities in creating the character of the final piece of music.
