We are now sourcing our cars from Europcar, collection and return is available from our office in Aviemore or you can also go one way to any Europcar office. In addition to the rental cost, each Europcar booking requires a refundable security deposit of 250. If you are looking to hire a van, we can organise this through Europcar with collection and drop-off at our Aviemore office. The availability, however, is often very low so we advise that you enquire as early as possible to ensure we can supply a van for your requested dates. Avoid or it could cost you a fortune. Take a bus, taxi or just walk instead!
I rented a car from Aviemore Car & Van for a weekend out in the Cairngorms on a Saturday morning. I was told that no one would be able to sign the car back in for the whole of the next day when I was due to return it.
I dropped the car off parked safely outside their office midday on Sunday to catch my train. I received an email from AC&VH on the Monday notifying me that the car had been damaged whilst it was parked outside their offices. I then received a bill for damages in excess of £500 including £140 in admin
