We are a family run Butchers shop established in 1973 by Brian and Doreen Glaves and are situated on the A170 between Scarborough and Pickering (North Yorkshire). We sell Beef, Lamb, Pork, Poultry as well as Award winning Pies and Sausages all our produce is locally sourced, also coming from our own farm. Seriously, this is one of those one-in-a-lifetime porcine pleasures that can never be better.

Been wanting to try this place on several occasions whilst staying in the area. Went into store yesterday and greeted by professional and courteous staff. Excellent quality bacon and sausages we had. Big range of products on offer too. Will go back before heading south. Thanks..

Amazing Butchers, mouth watering products on display. Pork pies are the best in the business as experienced in the past.

Recently called as I was passing here. Bought fat rascals, vanilla slices, lg pork pie, cornish pasties, Brompton sausages, and potted beef. Everything was top quality but, I have to agree with other comments that all the meat products were much too salty.
We are being advised to reduce our salt intake I would say you need to reduce your salt in your meat products by 25%!

I live locally, went in to get a few bits and bobs, courteous staff, asked for a couple of sausage rolls as well, was charged £0.95 each, as you can see these are much less then 3" long and about an inch wide, just not good enough, they tasted fine, but am still shocked by the size of these. If they hadn't been out of sight and then placed in a bag, I would have said they can take them back, but its a bit late when you get back home. Wont be going back. For quality 4, for Size 0. Needs to be improved on.
