Difficult to navigate around site. Poor signs around site and got lost trying to find accommodation. Pool ok and slide was great however I think this would be too small in peak season for amount of people. More owners accomodation rather than holiday park.

Not completely sure what to make of it. Nothing was open when we visited. Based on our experience walking around the place, didn't seem like anything special. You walk along side cars driving around as there is no footpath so not great with a toddler who likes to run around. Thought we would explore the lovely landscape in the pictures, but I get a feeling it looks better from the aerial views posted than on foot. Might change my re view once I've visited again.

My partner and I always enjoy coming here for our camping trips.
The location is beautiful and we are always accompanied by the resident wildlife which is an added bonus.
The facilities are great and we cannot fault them.
The reason we have only given it 4 stars is because during our last trip we were accosted by an egregious little man. He is the 'fishing bailiff'. Basically early in the morning he forced himself between our fishing umbrella and tent and he was saying that we were too close to the bank, (without any pleasantries). We were, in fact, in perfect range of the required distance

Very spacious camp & holiday site, with lots to do within a short walking distance, a small convenience store with good opening hours and a huge variety of accommodation options, from pitching a tent to renting a luxury lodge. The beds and bedrooms can be a little small, so think carefully about how many people you're bringing.

We stayed in a camping pod for 1 night, I would never do it again. Upon arrival we had to pay a large deposit but would it get fully refunded once we returned the key. I went to the supermarket on site and that was seriously overpriced. When we checked into the camping pod it only had an 1 electric heater and a light switch which we had to reach up as someone had broken the cord. The front door was very hard to lock and unlock. The toilets were not close to the camping pod so about a 5/10 minute walk backwards and forwards to them which isn’t good early hours of the morning. I was very disappointed

A great place for camping, caravans and some entertainment. Great walks around the lakes on site with plenty of wildlife to sit and watch. The on-site pub/club sells average food with a reasonable price attached. A great choice of wine and beer with loads of seating both in and outside. The fair is great for younger kids. An overall great holiday or day out.

We stayed here as we were visiting family and it was the closest place but we very very pleasantly suprised! Staff were really friendly, pool was great fun and there was so much to do we just didn't have time to do it all! Showers and toilets clean were clean and we had no complaints!
Would definitely recommend, especially for families.

We had a great family afternoon in the sunshine. I just feel the whole park could be an absolute gold mine pulling in lots of local people, if there were a few more attractions/ shops . Overall a fun afternoon out

During lockdown they were supposed to be doing some much needed maintenance, upon arriving there are no signs of ANY maintenance having been done. Men's toilets are filthy, showers disgusting and nowhere has been dusted or de-cobwebbed. seriously disappointed especially as the prices have gone up since 2019.

Arrived to camp on a pitch we'd booked but there was no space! Ended up pitched a night to find a huge family gathering pitched next to us and lets just say they thought they owned the site, absolutely no respect for other campers round them. Loud, swearing, loud music etc until early hours. Clearly we didn't have a sound proofed tent like them. I… mean have a bit of fun but there was zero consideration and security not bothered.
Pitches badly managed, should be allocated according to large parties or quiet, smaller family groups not the free for all chaos of pitch where you like. No pitches

Good campsite, especially if you have kids for their first time. Everything you need on site with a superstore about 15min drive away. Facilities clean and hot water for washing dishes & shower. It never disappoints

Came home yesterday after a five night camping trip. Some changes to entertainment!! How about cancelled all entertainment for children. Lots of staff stood about doing nothing. Could have put some disco music on for the little ones very very disappointed kids. Soft play area shut. Beach area covered in grass weeds. Parks all missing swings and… old. Complained about entertainment on 1st day nothing done to rectify it. Told the two entertainment staff were self isolating (still should have a back up or someone from many bar staff could have helped). Maybe they could also clean the entertainment

We've been billing a few times in a caravan & tent and have enjoyed each time & always found it reasonably priced! We've always found a decent electric pitch using shelduck meadow 3. The showers, toilets & washing up area seemed to be being cleaned constantly throughout the day and had lots of hot water.
Yes all entertainment is extra so prepare to spend some pennies, my children loved the fair, arcade & adventure golf.
The only thing I found lacking which is my personal preference is that the site could do with some form of a takeaway, there is the chippy just outside, the quay pub or the venue
