I am a complementary therapist with a special interest in fertility issues, pregnancy, women's health and Baby & Toddler Reflexology, practising at The Soul Spa in Bath, Room Frome and at home in Frome. Complementary medicines, such as reflexology, may be used to help the body heal itself and return to a state of health & well-being.
They can be used together with conventional medicine or on their own. Susie supports her clients by increasing relaxation, reducing tension, improving sleep and increasing a sense of well-being. Reflexology is used to treat the person as a whole rather than individual symptoms or illnesses. There is a view that these holistic therapies are an effective form of preventative healthcare.

Services
I am a fully qualified reflexologist and Indian head masseuse and my belief is that all aspects of life must be considered to reach optimum health and wellbeing. So when treating clients, I take into account all lifestyle factors and then tailor each treatment accordingly, always placing an emphasis on relaxation.
At the initial consultation, I take a full medical history, including lifestyle factors, so I can provide a treatment plan that is most suited to you. During the treatment you will be semi-reclined on a professional chair or treatment couch so you can lie back, relax and enjoy the benefits of the reflexology session.
I believe that using reflexology to treat the whole person instead of individual ailments or symptoms is one of the most effective forms of preventative healthcare. Reflexology is the technique of applying gentle pressure to the reflexes on the feet and hands to bring about a feeling of deep relaxation, helping you return to a state of balance and wellbeing.
Reflexology is looked on favourably by gynaecologists and obstetricians like Dr Gowri Motha, who is a great advocate in her book, Gentle Birth Method. There is a view that pregnancy reflexology helps and supports a woman as her body changes through pregnancy. I am qualified to practise pregnancy reflexology, which can be given in the first trimester.
I believe that post-natal reflexology can help new mothers adjust to life with a newborn baby. It can support you as your body and menstrual cycle are returned to normal. There is a view that reflexology supports people by helping them to relax on both a mental and physical level. In turn, this can assist the body in adapting to life's changes.
