Le Maitre has been designing and manufacturing stage pyrotechnics and smoke and haze machines since 1977. Most research, development and manufacturing take place at two UK locations. Smoke, Haze, Flame and other Special Effects Machines are developed and produced in Mitcham, Surrey.
Pyrotechnics are designed and manufactured in Peterborough, and it is here that the world famous range of Pyroflash cartridges and the ProStage II range of professional stage pyrotechnics are made.The Le Maitre Ltd head office in Peterborough is where all sales and after-sales service are coordinated for our European, African, Middle Eastern and Asian customers.

A number of Le Maitre's special effects and pyrotechnics are used extensively by the armed forces for their training simulations. The following are effects which have been effectively used over the years. With smoke output ranges from 500 to 1100 cubic metres/minute Le Maitre Smoke Generators provide a realistic, reduced visibility environment, producing huge amounts of dense white, non-toxic smoke, ideal for emergency simulation sessions.
All Le Maitre pyrotechnic products are approved by the HSE. On each product page of the site, you can download the MSDS or Material Safety Data Sheet specific to that product. This contains detailed information and instructions on the safe use and storage of the product. The use of pyrotechnics, indoors and outdoors is at the sole discretion of the operator who will have taken full note of the prevailing situation.

Thank you to Sharon and the team at Le Maitre. Your Technician Tim did an amazing job. His customer service and attention to detail was excellent. He really helped to give our wedding that special touch. We hired the low Fog machine, Confetti blower and bubbles for our wedding. Highly recommended company if you want a special FX at your event.
