A chimney is a structure for venting hot flue gases or smoke from a boiler stove, furnace or fireplace to the outside atmosphere. Chimneys are typically vertical, or as near as possible, to ensure the gases flow smoothly. With a modern appliance it is essential to have the correct class of flue, the correct size of flue and also an insulated flue.
To show your Stove and Fireplace off to its best, consideration should be given to the Hearth material. Hearths can be constructed with various materials such has Glass, Flagstones, Stone, Granite, Marble and Enamel. We work with a local company called Swinsons Masonry Ltd who are based in Leamington Spa for Slate, Granite, Marble and Stone.
When using your wood-burning or multi-fuel stove, for optimum results we recommend always using a good quality seasoned firewood. It will ensure a clean burn, which helps reduce soot build up, it helps the stove burn at maximum efficiency as well as prolonging the life of your stove and flu system as well as keeping your glass clean.

Highly recommended. We had problems with our stove that were not Sparkes’ fault. It was the new to market stove we chose that caused the problems but Sparkes stuck with us and sorted it all out. Their work is quality, they’re a pleasure to deal with and they see the job through. I would not hesitate to use them again.
