Established in 2009, Polar weld Ltd provide welding & heat treatment solutions to its customers. Based just off the M80 motorway in Cumbernauld central Scotland we are in an ideal location to serve the UK's ever growing demand for quality made products. We are an ISO9001 registered firm and our core business is CRA overlay, pipework fabrication and heat treatment.

All our welding is carried out using DNV or RSA approved weld procedures and qualified welders. At Polar Weld Ltd, we can also provide a full turnkey service form material sourcing, pre and post weld machining, pressure testing and coating. We serve Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

At Polar Weld Ltd, we have 3 automated Hot-wire GTAW cladding stations for depositing metallurgically bonded corrosion and wear resistant alloys such as 300 & 400 series stainless steel, nickel based alloys such as 625 & 825 and cobalt based alloys such as alloys 6 & 21. Speak to our experts today!
Our custom built 40KW Thyristor controlled heat treatment furnace is calibrated to API6A @ 800°C and has internal dimensions of 1500mmW x 1100mmD x 1000mmH. It is controlled using Invensys Eurotherm control gear and uses a state of the art paperless recorder system to ensure you have easy to read charts on secure PDF documents with all your serial number clearly stated.
The process of every project is carefully monitored and successfully delivered, on time, every time. Full documentation packages are provided with every order. Our reputation for dependability is founded by this approach and has resulted in a continued growth in our customer base.
