We had small beginnings back in 1984 when we started the business with two members of staff, six skips and one lorry! Fast forward to today and Wellington Waste boasts a fleet of lorries, hundreds of skips and wheelie bins of varied sizes and a team of drivers and back office staff. What hasn't changed though is our attitude to providing excellent customer service, our friendly and approachable staff and the ability to react quickly to new demands and ideas.
We have incorporated and acquired companies along the way - including Taunton Skips, Mountain Skips and West Somerset Skip Hire - and now operate from The Old Brickworks on Poole Industrial Estate in Wellington which is where you will also find our Weighbridge and transfer station.We're small enough to care but large enough to offer the service you want when you want it.

Services
We provide domestic householders and all types and sizes of commercial and industrial customers with skip hire services. From our base in Wellington, we cover a large area of Somerset and Devon. Please view the map to see if your area is included. If it isn't but you are based in one of these two counties and would like to use our skip hire services, please contact us.
The Mini Skip is the baby of our skip family, it is ideal for small amounts of household or garden waste. This is a popular 4 cubic yard skip for old bathroom and kitchen fitments but is also good for medium amounts of household and garden waste. Some of our midi skips have front doors for easy loading.

Although we 'ditch the dirt' for you, our mission is to be environmentally aware, to reduce landfill waste where possible, to re-use where we can and maximise recycling potential. At our on-site sorting plant, we comb through the waste we receive and separate it out. We make every effort to re-process as close to Wellington as possible.
Waste is classified as 'hazardous' if it has the potential to harm our health or the environment. Hazardous waste, whether produced, received or transported, is subject to regulations within the UK. We have used Wellington Waste a number of times for our company and for personal use, they are always great to deal with, very cost effective but most importantly their service is always first class. We always deal with Zoe in the office and she is always extremely helpful! I would never use anyone else.

Booked skip delivery online , delivered for the Wednesday and collection booked for the Friday , at no point during that process did it flag up that collection might not be the day i had asked for , you think it would just so you are aware of that fact ! My confirmation email clearly states Friday collection ! By 16.14 on the Friday no collection , i rang the office they didn’t call me , I was told that collection wouldn’t be happening today it would be the Monday. I explained i needed it collection today and reasons why i needed it collected . I asked to speak to a manager , not sure i got
