In the 1970s our grandfather, Irwin Dynes, along with his business partner, flew to Italy to source curtain poles to add to their portfolio of window furnishings. Their company became one of the first to import and supply wooden curtain poles to major department stores and independent retailers.

Move on a few decades and Irwin was importing wooden and metal curtain poles from around the world and manufacturing plastic track and components from a factory unit in Corby, Northamptonshire. His two daughters and their families worked for the company to help build the brand and grow the company. I can remember as a child, helping to count curtain rings into small bags as well as running around the warehouse hiding from my dad.

Having now bought a decent pole, brackets and holdbacks I shall never go back to cheap poles again! The quality is great and excellent value. The team are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products, any question I put to them was answered confidently and with great advice. Will definitely use them again.
