The capability of our business grew rapidly, expanding within 2 years to 6 minibuses, 3 medium-sized coaches, and 3 coaches of a larger size. One of our coaches was an executive model that was used for Gatwick and Heathrow airport transfers. Dartline Coaches continued to grow, picking up private school contracts from Ottery St. Mary, Sidmouth, and Newton Abbot until 1991.

Thankyou to the lady driver (sorry i didnt catch her name) who took our wedding party to our wedding last Saturday and got us all back afterwards. Arrived on time and nothing was to much trouble. She was very friendly and joined in with a very loud bus full singing on the way back. Thankyou again would definitely recommend and book again in the future 👍

Just like to say what a fantastic service you provide. We hired a 53 seater coach to transport half of our guests from the imperial hotel in exmouth to our wedding venue in Connaught gardens sidmouth on the 14-08-2021. Our guest were over the moon with your driver who negotiated roads to sidmouth with ease. His timing was perfect and our guests could praise him enough so we had a lot of happy guests. Thank you so much for being part of making our day so perfect.

My son has been on your buses twice in the last 2 weeks. He was questioned why he wasn't wearing a mask, he replied that he was exempt. He got questioned further, both times he showed his inhaler and said again he was exempt. He got treated terribly and told to sit far away from everyone else.
You are not actually supposed to question anyone why they aren't wearing a mask! You are most definitely not supposed to make them feel awful because they have a medical condition!
Very unfriendly and obnoxious drivers.

This is not a reliable service. Don't plan a day out solely on their bus services - but especially not if you need to get to work! Left waiting for the 118 at Okehampton at 14.25 as yet again it is not running, two hours until the next scheduled bus service. This happens regularly. Inconvenient, but also expensive when we are forced to take taxis to get home when services later in the day are cancelled.

If I could give a lower than 1 star I would. We were driving down a narrow lane with a large trailer on back and convoy of 3 vehicles, we met your bus near salcombe regis, on the sidmouth hopper bus service, which refused to move back into a space when they had no one behind them forcing us to detach our trailer and over a period of over 15 minutes push it 200 yards up a road and the bus driver still refused to reverse, even though she has a reversing camera. Your driver claims she cannot see out of her mirrors and cannot reverse down the lane by “company policy” and she was also very rude

This was the email response two months later after telephone calls and emails after a driver nearly knocked me off my mobility scooter. The driver was speeding through Exminster when he cut me up on the roundabout by the Royal Oak pub. I was indicating right as he went on the opposite side of the road to overtake me at speed then drove off giving the v sign at me and swearing. It seems the management do not care about the public so its not surprising that the drivers don't either1

These buses use the small lanes around our village 4 times a day. They are rude, obnoxious and deliberately out to have an argument! The bus was driven at us today even though it was obviously not going to fit! ( WE know these lanes and can reverse a truck and horse trailer) the bus got stuck on our trailer and shouted " buses were here first!!" Stupidly if he had stopped we could have got around him easily. Got it all on film...

Used this coach company for a pick up and drop off between Portsmouth and Plymouth. Coach arrived 45 mins later than booked for with no prior communication from either the driver or company to inform me of the delay. The emergency Dartline phone number had to be used to ensure they were still on their way. The coach itself was of a decent standard but poor time management communication and company management was a let down.
