Established in 1950, RCC has encouraged and facilitated sailing on the Ribble estuary (and further a field) for 70 years. We have a comfortable clubhouse with a well stocked bar, fully equipped galley and large lounge with arguably the best available panoramic views of the Ribble estuary. The clubhouse also houses male and female changing and shower facilities, garaging for our safety boat and our race box with its fully automated race signalling system.
The RCC dinghy fleet is accommodated outside the clubhouse within three, sub-ground level, concrete pens which afford all year round protection from the wind and we have a mini tractor to take some of the leg work out of launching and recovering dinghies from the jetty which is adjacent to the clubhouse.

Services
A temporary Headquarters was established at the Queens Hotel and the RCC was born. Shortly after this the headquarters moved to a member's house on East Beach and then to the County Hotel but as the membership approached 50 there needed to be a more permanent home. A short spell in Lytham Windmill ended when damp and structural problems were found and the club was forced back to the member's house on east Beach.
