Services
We're a Sussex-based husband and wife driving school on a mission: to make you feel comfortable, confident and safe on the road; ready to pass your driving test with ease at your own speed. As highly experienced Grade 5 and Grade 6 driving instructors, we've taught students of all ages and abilities to drive at a pace that suits them.
We don't think putting a number on the hours you need to learn to drive is helpful. Instead, we focus on making you feel comfortable, confident and safe on the road with driving theory lessons, practical driving lessons and mock driving tests to help you prepare for passing your driving test first time.

Peter was a great instructor. His calm persona and patience helped me to stay calm as well and focus on feedback that he would give me during driving lessons. Not having as much time due to being at university to prepare for my test, he was able to fit in extra times to help me practise when I got back. I was able to pass my test first time, I couldn’t recommend Peter enough!

Very good driving instructor, i used this company to get my license and I couldn’t be happier. The lessons where clear and calm. Always on time for the lesson and was so supportive the morning of the test while I was nervous. Needless to say the great teaching led to me passing first time, no minors. Highly recommend

Without any doubt the best driving school in the area. I was taught by the exemplary Peter who, apart from being a true gent, truly understands the level of a new driver and has the mindset to help them improve and gain confidence. Peter has a real passion for driving with experience and qualifications way beyond anyone else in the south. He passed two of my oldest friends and my brother quickly and safely, I passed with 1 minor! It's difficult in today's day and age finding the time to learn, but Peter was more than accommodating, actually teaching me early in the morning before work.To anyone

Quick message to say that TEST School Of Motoring is absolutely an incredible driving school and for those looking for a honest, calm, helpful, and encouraging driving instructor - This is where I'd go if I was to start all over again.
Peter is a master at communicating what learner's need to know and getting it across to us in such a way that's so simple and encouraging. Ask any student that has had Peter, his analogies are next level, they're not only funny; they get his point across so it's easy to understand. I made tonnes of mistakes every lesson, but the way he'd explain what I did wrong

After having a bad experience with a previous instructor and having my confidence knocked, Julia really helped me to build it up again and was so friendly throughout the whole process. I really liked that she often said it how it was so I knew exactly when I was doing something wrong. Overall, I had a great experience with Julia and I ended up passing first time! Would highly recommend.
