The Hollow Sections that we supply are; Square Hollow, Rectangular, and Circular Hollow Sections.

We understand that steelwork can be complex and difficult to measure so we offer to our customers an onsite survey and measure service. This can be extremely useful on larger or more complicated jobs. We will visit site to assess the job, offer advice and take critical measurements leaving you feeling confident.

Structural Steel Report

Baker Steel Trading supply and manufacture a wide range of structural steel types for use in the building industry. We have over 20 tonnes of steel available in our warehouse in Woking, UK. Universal Beams Report

Universal beams are long structures with an I-shaped cross section, consisting of the flange (the horizontal elements of the I), and the web (the vertical element). Baker Steel Trading supply universal beams to construction and building firms all over the country. No matter what size you are after, our universal beams are fabricated exactly to industry standards and installed within a matter of hours.

Universal Columns Report

Universal columns (UC) act as the vertical counterparts to structural steel universal beams. They are often called H Sections, or I Sections. It's important to understand the type of structural steel you need because columns and beams look very similar but are designed for drastically varied purposes.

Equal Angle Report

Angle steel is a length of steel that is 'L' shaped at a right angle (90 degrees perpendicular). The legs can be equal or unequal in terms of their angling. Steel angles are used for varying purposes in numerous industries, most commonly in framings, racks or brackets. Mild Steel Report

Baker Steel Trading also provide a plethora of mild steel bars, in three different shapes. We supply flat bars, square bars and round bars. Mild steel flat bars are cost-effective, flexible and resourceful forms of steel which are suited to a wide range of applications. They combine the strength of solid structural steel along with formability and adaptability of mild steel, with a reduced carbon content.

We are in the process of building a 2 storey steel frame house so finding the right steel company to fabricate and install the steel frame was fundamentally important to us, and a really considered decision. Out of all the steel companies we approached we found Baker Steel to be the most responsive and cost effective so we commissioned them to work with us and we have couldn't be more impressed. They kept us updated throughout the design and fabrication process, arrived on site when they said they would, and turned up everyday until the installation was complete.
