Given that I am a horrendous shopper and like most women don't really say positive things when I see myself in the mirror. Lizzie bought out that inner princess and made me believe in myself - and the dress made it all happen.

Lizzie Malcolm knew that she was destined to create wedding dresses from a very young age. For as long as she can remember Lizzie has been fascinated by fine fabrics, embroidery and all things wedding dresses. Before creating Elizabeth Malcolm, Lizzie worked at various bridalwear manufacturers and retailers around the UK.
We have recently relocated our boutique into a new premises. We are now based inside Blackbrook House, Belper, in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Blackbrook House is an exclusive use wedding venue, and this stunning Victorian building has been lovingly renovated to create a peaceful and beautiful environment for couples to celebrate their wedding day.
Our personal wedding dress consultations are with Lizzie at Blackbrook House. Because we are by appointment only, this ensures that Lizzie can give you her undivided attention. You have exclusive use of the boutique and you and your guests can have total free reign without any distractions and most importantly, privacy.

I must give her a 5* review to Elizabeth Malcolm based on customer service alone. Her dresses were beautifully made and designed – you can see the love and care that goes into her work. Elizabeth’s whole manner, process and patience were greatly appreciated. I had rather dreaded further wedding dress shopping after a couple of bad experiences but visiting Elizabeth’s shop was an absolute delight. Thank you to Lizzie for making a beautiful dress for my sister who was my maid of honor. We had visited many shops that sold bridesmaid dresses but there were non that seemed to fit or flatter her. I searched on the Internet and came across Lizzie’s website. After our first meeting I knew straight away she would be able to make the perfect dress, she is a lovely person who made us feel so at ease & welcome and I loved our little outings for each fitting. She truly made an amazing, unique design for my sister and I’ve attached some photos so you can see the beautiful results. I would recommend

Where do I even BEGIN to describe how amazing Lizzie and her team are?! When my now husband and I first got engaged, I had an idea in the back of my head that it would be cool to have a green wedding dress. Upon mentioning my idea to a few friends, it soon became apparent that this wasn't the 'done thing'. When I first fleetingly mentioned the idea upon meeting Lizzie at a wedding fair, my initial reaction was disappointment that I would have to conform to the norm and not have what I want......however, Lizzie's initial reaction made my fears disappear, her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree!
