Harrow Cricket Club
The season has now come to a close. We'd like to thank all the players, coaches, administrators and parents for making this another successful season. Congratulations to our 3rd and 4th XI's for winning their leagues and gaining promotion. Our junior section picked up another eight trophies this season enjoying league and cup success across multiple age groups.

The winter programme will begin in October and full details of that can be found in the junior winter schedule and has been emailed to all members. Of all the players representing our men's XI's in league cricket every Saturday, more than two-thirds of them have come through our own junior set up which is now one of the best in the County.
Services
All four of our Saturday XI's play in the Middlesex County Cricket League. Saturday league matches start at 12:30pm and are played as a 100 overs timed game or 45 overs per side limited overs game. The league season for each team consists of 18 matches played over 18 Saturdays starting the second Saturday in May and finishing the first Saturday in September.
We firmly believe that for junior players cricket shouldn't just stop once they start taking GCSE's or are no longer colts. For their continued development and enjoyment of the game it is important to have a bridge between colts cricket and adult cricket. This is why we run the Harrow Hurricanes, two teams that play in the best U19 and U21 competitions in Middlesex.
Harrow cricket club has one of the best junior cricket sections in Middlesex. We have 300 junior players and 18 junior teams covering every age group and ability level from Under-8 to Under-17, all managed by a team of qualified & experienced coaches. Our home ground Payne's Folly provides young players the opportunity to develop by playing on some of the very best junior pitches in the county.
We run one of the most comprehensive junior cricket winter training programmes in Middlesex. There is a boys programme and a girls programme. All coaching is carried out by qualified ECB Level 2 or Level 3 coaches. The winter training groups are organised by age group & ability. Existing members who fit within the age and ability criteria for these groups will be given an invite to attend winter training.
Sometimes due to heavy rain either in the days leading up to a training session or match, or on the day itself, we have to cancel the session or match. There are two aspects we have to consider. The state of the pitch that has been prepared and the state of the outfield. Are they both fit for play?

The best cricket club if you want to play cricket. Beautiful private cricket ground with well maintained pitches. Great people to socialize with. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. You will get equal opportunity to play games for the club.
One of the best clubs to play for. The main square is nothing short of lords.

Early experiences are that it is a very friendly club. My daughter plays with their younger girls and they were very welcoming and supportive. They all enjoy playing cricket and play to win but well within the spirit of the game which is a great combination. Thoroughly recommended.

Great facility but not a good place for young girls cricket aspirants. Girls team coach has set of favourites and no equal opportunity, attention or time given to other players. Yells at non-favourites instead of helping them to improve their skills. Gives no respect to parents either.

Large grounds with good cricket facilities and coaches. The grounds around the playing area could be better maintained. Bar is very expensive.

Played music at a post match event last summer. It's a beautiful setting, especially at sunset, and the people there are very friendly.
