Eifion Howatson is an experienced and committed healthcare professional with over 20 years experience working for the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust as a paramedic. He is passionate about working in acute and emergency care. His experience includes numerous critical situations, of both medical and trauma, that have required quick decision making and vital action.
We at Med/Event aim to provide a professional, friendly and thorough private medicals and Safety Critical Workers Medicals for companies or private individuals. Be it for HGV or HSE compliance or a general welfare health surveillance assessment. We look to complete our Medicals as promptly as possible to reduce time lost from site or from the workplace.
HSE 3-day First Aid at work course (full practical and theory on all aspects of first aid.) 210 per person, minimum 4 people. 2300 for 12 people, which includes one day pre-study material and two days practical sessions. 50 per person for a refresher.
HSE 2-day First Aid at work refresher course (this course would cover specific topics which would benefit the workplace) i.e burns, wounds, heat exhaustion (for hotels, etc), fractures, head injuries and unconscious patients (for the construction industry, etc.)1460 for 12 people for two days. One day with pre learning which counts as day one and face to face practical's on day two.

Amusing course today. Usually first aid is painful and dull but the girls and I had fun through learning, can't wait for the refresher. Eifion provided an interesting and humorous first aid training course which was specifically designed for our managers, coaches and some committee members. Everyone felt that it had been a really good exercise with benefits for all.
