Our management and staff are themselves dog owners, agility experts, breeders and exhibitors and all our boarders are given the same care we would expect for our own pets.

Services
We have a great team at Wetherham kennels with a mix of interests in a variety of dog activities, everyone works hard out in the elements every day. Nigel and Frederica Harris are the owners of Wetherham kennels and are passionate about dogs, we have owned and looked after many different shaped, sized and breeds of dogs over the years.
The boarding kennels have been designed to the highest specifications, providing spacious kennels with underfloor heating. We aim to provide a small number of kennels ensuring the best possible care and attention for the dogs enabling more one to one attention and exercise. We aim to offer caring attention in a peaceful and beautiful rural setting.
Daycare can be provided whilst you are down on holiday or need some free time without your dog/dogs. We do also have a few dayboarding regular spaces in the week, please contact us if this is required to check if we have availability. Visiting the area, on holiday, or at work and unable to give your dog the exercise or attention it needs?
If you have set your heart on a particular holiday only to find dogs aren't allowed let your dog come and stay with us. Your dogs whilst on holiday with yourselves can either stay with us by day or just by night whichever suits your plans. You can collect your dog in the morning, spend the day together, and drop him off in the evening.
Should your dog require medical attention during their stay vet care will be provided by our designated vet. If your dog is registered with another surgery in the Bodmin, Camelford or Wadebridge area we would be happy to take your dog to their regular vet if you prefer. Should your dog require medical attention during their stay vet care will be provided by our designated vet, kernow veterinary group.

First time my dog has stayed in kennels. But wont be the last. They have taken such great care of her. Shes in excellent condition and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Westerham to any of my dog friends. Kind and caring team. Put the dogs first. Thank you girls for allowing me to have a worry free holiday.

Brilliant place we left our 3 dogs there whilst we went away. Fair prices and very clean and the staff where wonderful. Will be using them from now on as it's a big weight off our minds knowing they're happy and being looked after whilst we're away!

Sonic, my 15 year old choc lab has been staying at Wetherham for about 12 years, at least 3 times a year and I cannot speak highly enough of Fredi and her wonderful team. During January, 2 days into our fortnight holiday in US, she unexpectedly became very ill, and initially it was thought to be a stroke. Fredi informed me immediately and her husband took Sonic to our vet in Bodmin. The next few days were very difficult but we were sent regular updates, texts, photos and videos of her progress. Initially Sonic was unable to stand or lift her head and required a lot of individual attention which

Would not hesitate to recommend this kennels. Have never used kennels and never thought I would. However was persuaded by a friend to visit Wetherham as after booking 3 weeks away then found ourselves with two dogs. They have not lived the life of a domestic animal,have had little socialisation and have poor eating habits which only added to our anxieties over leaving them. Fredi (the owner) listened to our predicament and suggested an overnight trial which proved successful, this was followed by a two night stay and we have just collected them from just over a 3 weeks stay. They are really happy
