At pooch Dog Spa we have a wide range of grooming, spa, and body treatments for all breeds of pooch. On arrival each pooch will undergo a skin and coat analysis to determine the most suitable products for their treatment. Shampoo, conditioning treatments, spa treatments and finishing mists are then chosen to ensure each pooch's individual needs are addressed.
After five years happy grooming, and eighteen months of lockdown, to help make sure that we can continue to look after you and your four-legged friends and offer the very best service, we have taken the difficult decision to introduce a small price increase. First and last time that we have used the pooch spa to have our dog groomed! After 2 1/2 hours we got him back with an injury and a bold patch! The bold patch was owned up to; the guard had fallen off the clippers while she was shaving him...?! The clipped claw, we noticed on the way home when he tried to lick the claw and there was blood coming from the pink part of the claw. They did not own up to this, saying that he must have gotten injured on the sidewalk...

Honestly, the best groomers we've ever been to. New to the area we had been taking our welshie to Pets at Home, and after we were 10 minutes late for an appointment we waited four months for, they said they couldn't take him, Pooch Dog Spa did everything they could to give us a last minute appointment. The groom was faultless. Ever since we've been going back. Just picked him up and he was sitting on the sofa, cool as a cucumber! Previous stories of our dog that he was a nightmare. So it's nice to hear that our dog loves going there too, as well as being a great groom. Thank you for looking after

Very good, was worried about my Elijah as it was his first time and he is a lump and can be a handful. But it was all good. Came out and nice and clean. He loves to jump in the muddy boggy rivers over in southwood and his coat was becoming stained. After a visit here, his coat was lovely clean and back to white again. Very reasonable priced. He will be going back. Thankyou

Definitely gone down hill in recent months with the core team of groomers leaving. I originally took my dogs here as the knowledge and experience was spot on, knowing even rare breed standards and the friendly staff were happy and willing to discuss each dogs needs with me. That has gone, along with the interest in each dog yet the cost is still the same. No longer value for money or somewhere I am happy to take my dogs.
