We have been advised that we can continue to provide urgent care triage service by telephone during our normal working hours and also now provide a limited range of face to face care. This is the path forward towards normality but unfortunately, not the full service as usual.

If you have a severe toothache (which does not respond to pain relief measures) or if you have a dental infection, please call the practice on 0208 337 4448 or contact us by email reception@the-dentist.net.We will do our best to help. The limitation of what we can provide immediately means that many treatments which we have routinely carried out previously will not be available for safety reasons.
Services
I consent to my personal data being collected and stored for the purpose of marketing communications. The internet is not generally considered to be a secure means of transmitting sensitive data. If you are at all concerned about this, then you may wish to telephone us instead. We are situated on the A24 London Road, opposite the access road to Sainsbury's and almost next door to McDonald's.
Your visit begins when you book an appointment. Please ring 020 8337 4448 and we will do our best to arrange the earliest possible time that is convenient. When you come for a check-up, we will thoroughly examine your teeth, mouth and gums, taking x-rays where required. If treatment is necessary, we'll explain what needs doing and some options and costs and listen to your wishes on the treatment which is best for you.
Please contact us, to take advantage of this special offer. Your dentist will check that your teeth are suitable for these treatment options, explain these "smile improvement" options to you and answer your questions. Your dentist will advise you of the fees beforehand so that you can make an informed decision.
5 minutes at night. Brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes using a fluoride toothpaste, gently brush your gums and tongue, and clean between teeth using dental floss or an interdental brush. Arrange regular visits to your dentist. So that your dentist can deal with any problems earlier and your hygienist can help you keep your teeth & gums in best condition possible.
A wonderful practice. He's really kind and considerate. Really friendly reception staff, they all know what's happening and can explain things really well. Today I'm still the nervous patient, but this morning so really nice, some really nice relaxing music. Not what you expect from your usual NHS practice.

Absolutely terrible service. On two separate occasions I have been in need of emergency treatment and they have told me they do not do emergency care ,despite the fact I am registered with them. The receptionist always sounds bored and like she can not be bothered.

I am with the Dental Hygiene Centre for the last 10 years. Dr Rahim Jetha is the most gentle, kind and knowledgeable dentist I’ve ever had and I am totally at ease with him. He has successfully managed to dissipate my decades long Dental treatment Phobia. The same applies to the lovely dental hygienist Ms Olesen. I see them both twice a year, my teeth are in good condition and my fear has gone! Highly recommended if you are looking for a professional and caring dentist providing high quality dental care.

I had one of my tooth extracted recently at the Dental Hygiene Centre. The dentist Sophie and the nurse really made me comfortable. Sophie explained what I would expect during the procedure including all the potential risks so I was fully informed. The extraction was performed professionally and my tooth was extracted in no time, came out completely intact, guess it could be considered a text book extraction. Even after the numbness went away I did not feel much pain and whatever pain I had was easily controlled with paracetamol. When I woke up the following day I did not experience any further

Always very happy with whatever dentist I see and my whole family come here. They are all so friendly and professional however only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of the main receptionist. Considering most people who visit the dentist are feeling anxious it would be really nice to have a warm welcome or even a smile to help you feel at ease. I’ve been coming here for well over 16 years and this has never happened!

I've not been to the dentist in nearly 20 years but I'm really pleased to have found these guys. I thought I was going to have to have expensive work done but was told just to floss and everything would heal itself. I thought dentists were out to do whatever work they could to earn money but these guys proved me wrong! Rahim was super lovely and made me feel relaxed and confident being there. I would definitely recommend these guys :)

Excellent service. Really pleased. Dentist is really kind , professional and helpful. Dentist solved my long term crown tooth problem with no extra costs by proper recommendations. Very honest service among other local dental centers. Children friendly. My kids love to go back to the same dentist. Nice receptionists. Strongly recommend this dental center for the local residents.
