Services
Marlow Sports Therapy is owned by Graduate Sports Therapist Mark Skoyles. With a background in 1st Aid he first became involved in Sports Therapy as a profession in 1996 assisting the physiotherapist at Marlow Football Club during 1st team games. From 1998 to 2015 as Head Therapist he was responsible for pitch-side trauma care and treatment to all the semi-professional players during a fixture packed football season.
Currently at least 15min gap is scheduled between clients with doors and/or windows left open to ventilate the clinic and prevent clients having to wait. A new cleaning procedure is in place so all surfaces are cleaned with anti-viral cleaner after every treatment. Fresh towels and couch covers are used for each person.
We currently provide sports therapy to a number of local running events in the South Bucks area. Athletes can get pre / post-event treatments near the finish line of a race. We can set up a marque at your event and provide every thing needed to give sports massages or sports first aid to participants or visitors.
Musculoskeletal disorders accounted for 8.8 million working days lost last year with an average of 16 days off per case. Massage treatments such as these are used regularly by blue-chip companies around the world and have proven to relieve muscular tension and reduce stress quickly and conveniently.
Subject to availability we offer Sports Therapy at your home or another venue for your convenience. Soft tissue treatments and/or injury rehabilitation can be performed on a portable couch that is transported to you by the qualified therapist. Prices within Marlow area start from 70 per hour, outside of Marlow an additional charge will be made depending on distances.

Excellent treatment from Mark. Very friendly and knows what he is doing! Really helping with tight neck and shoulders as well as an on going injury with my right leg after a sprain over a year ago. I have been seeing 2 other physios for this issue but Mark is the one that has given me the best diagnosis and exercises to treat the pain. The shoulder/neck massage was fantastic (even though painful), really worth while!

After having hurt my back from lifting, Mark sorted it out straightaway and very quickly worked out the underlying problems that set me up for an injury in the first place. The deep tissue massage was a bit uncomfortable but worked! He also gave me stretches to do every day and various other strategies to prevent it happening again. Would definitely recommend.
