Services
MindWise is a registered charity, and we rely on contracts and donations in order to operate. We're committed to being open and transparent in our income and expenditure. The principal funding sources for MindWise continue to be contract income from the Health and Social Care Trusts, Supporting People / Northern Ireland Housing Executive and the Department of Justice, along with time-limited programme funding, sales and investment income.
MindWise empowers those that use our advocacy services to take a lead in securing the rights and services to which they are entitled. Our work with new mums and children empowers whole families in improving their emotional and mental wellbeing. Being taken to custody can be confusing and frightening, and we're there so young people and vulnerable adults don't have to go through the experience alone.
Mindwise Advocacy Services provides free, independent and specialist information and advocacy for people with mental health difficulties, their families, carers and support workers. MindWise works with up to 1,500 people every day, assisting them in recovering a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Advocacy service are there to promote empowerment and to assist those in need to gain greater independence and be a voice to help those have the right to live a better quality of life.Registered in Northern Ireland Number NI071976. Registered Office Pinewood House, 46 Newforge Lane, Belfast BT9 5NW.
We're here for anyone with a mental illness who is struggling with their money, as well as anyone whose financial problems are affecting their mental health. Four million people in the UK have both mental health and money problems, and a further four million are at risk because they're having financial difficulties.
The five year project, led by MindWise in partnership with Action Mental Health, AWARE, Cause, Parenting NI and the Trusts' Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), has supported more than 100 families each year since 2015.

The project adopts a holistic person and family centred approach which helps families to better support their children, understand and cope with their circumstances, to be part of the community they live in and to experience less stigma and discrimination. We offer one-to-one support for children and their parents and/or carers using a WRAP approach.

Extremely caring and helpful band of people, but they all have tunnel vision. All they can see is a target to improve the lives of people afflicted my a mental health issue. Oh wait, thats not tunnel vision, thats humanity at its best.
