Multiflight has been providing aircraft engine overhaul and aircraft engine repair services at its private aviation facility at Leeds Bradford Airport since 2000. Multiflight purchased the piston engine overhaul and repair facility from Yorkshire Light Aircraft: the company that ran it from 1976. Multiflight's highly-trained engineers have more than 90 years' collective experience in engine overhaul and repair.
Multiflight opened its doors as a northern aviation centre in 1994 and since then its reputation has really taken off as a place that provides first class private aviation services and facilities. Multi-million pound investment in the site and a major refurbishment scheme has transformed Multiflight into one of the UK's finest private aviation companies.
Multiflight was formed in 1994 by technology entrepreneur David Hood, OBE, after he purchased a Falcon 900B. David, who founded Shipley-based Pace Micro Technology plc and plotted the company's growth through the 1980s and 1990s until its float in 1996, formed the company after becoming an aviation enthusiast and then helicopter pilot himself, before buying the Falcon.
Technology entrepreneur David formed Multiflight in 1994. The founder of Shipley-based Pace Micro Technology plc established Multiflight after becoming a helicopter pilot himself and then bought a Falcon 900B. Steve joined Multiflight as Managing Director in 1999 to assist with the development and expansion of the company.

Where do I start. I'm finding it hard to express the excellence of MultiFlight, no words can convey our gratitude to Heather & her team. Professionalism at the highest level whilst also having friendly people skills in abundance. Nothing is too much trouble & I can honestly say EVERYONE went above & beyond to make our experience the most memorable memory we will ever have.

Extremely disappointed and angry during my time working at multifight. This was my first ever aircraft engineering job where I really wanted to prove myself as a young engineer and get my engineering career to a good start.
During my trial period at the company I was working on the helicopters which I was surprisingly really enjoying, even though I had no previous experience with helicopters at all.

Multiflight is a private aviation centre attached to Leeds Bradford Airport, it is where the smaller, private aircraft depart from. There are usually flying lessons and trials on offer. And if you need to get somewhere quick or in incredible style they can sort out chartering an aircraft for you.
There is a little cafe bar on site here which is a little gem, great if you are an avaiation enthusiast as it gives you a view right across the runway of Leeds Bradford airport and you can often see the air ambulance helicopter (from BBC1 Helicopter heroes) coming and going as thier base is just around
