Every year we have to raise more than 1 million from public donations to keep our volunteers on the road so that they can be there for their neighbours in time of most need. We believe in being there for the people of Lincolnshire in time of greatest need; delivering immediate high-quality care regardless of the location or time of day.

LIVES is the Lincolnshire charity that supports an army of highly trained and dedicated volunteers who get to their neighbours fast to deliver vital care in those first critical moments of a medical emergency before handing over to the ambulance service.
Services
When two Doctors worked together to build the foundations of LIVES they set a charity on a course that would go onto saving thousands of lives right across Lincolnshire. Doctors to First Responders, the communities across the county have been there every step of the way. From 1970 through to 2020 the passion for providing vital skills in a 999 medical emergency to our rural communities hasn't changed.
LIVES is proud of its 700+ dedicated and highly trained volunteers. Our Community First Responders come from all walks of life and often have no previous medical experience - just a willingness to be trained in life-saving skills and able to give up some time to respond to calls in their community.
Every person we help and every life we save is only possible because of your generous donations. Your support means that we can be there for each and every one of the 60 people we are called out to every single day across Lincolnshire. Picking a date later than the 28th will automatically make your payment the last working day of each month.
None of us can predict the future, but whatever happens, today, tomorrow or years from now, LIVES would like to be there in a 999 medical emergency. Leaving a gift in your will allows us to train, equip and respond to families in your community when they need us most. In a 999 medical emergency minutes matter, leaving us a gift in your Will allows LIVES to be the difference.
The cookbook, Lincolnshire Kitchen, is a celebration of the fantastic produce in the county. It brings together an abundance of well-known and highly respected companies and food producers. This a 50 page book, cooked and photographed together to produce a commercial feel cookbook, whilst also showcasing the brands who have chosen to be part of the project.

Community Emergency Medical Service (CEMS)
Following a 999 call about my uncle who was having breathing difficulties, a LIVES CEMS Doctor and a Paramedic attended.
They arrived very quickly and were absolutely brilliant. Friendly, calming, reassuring, professional and thorough. Could not have asked for better.
thank you for providing such a fabulous, professional service in our communities.

The greatest of thanks to James who attended to my son the other day after he fell out of a tree. He was the first on scene and did an amazing job with my son, making him comfortable and chasing the ambulance. Thank you so much for all that you do 😊

I work with newly bereaved people in Louth and all of them have reason to be thankful for the services of the First Responders. Thank you on their behalf, and my own of course.

It's a training venue . Isolated building on an industrial estate with very little around it. Limited parking many for staff.
