I’m surprised a lot of the reviews say how nice the food is. We were a table of 4 for lunch and all had something different and no one particularly liked theirs. It’s not cheap and I have had a lot tastier food elsewhere. Would not eat here again

It’s become our annual treat to come here for the afternoon tea just after Christmas.
The hotel is very tastefully decorated for Christmas and the food is very nice. It is quite expensive, but then you have to remember this is an acclaimed Two AA ** Rosette restaurant.
Worth coming for the great food and atmosphere. We will be returning.

Attended a wedding here. Lovely place, friendly staff. Food is good. Nice atmosphere. Car park is small but if you go after 6pm you can park along the seafront for free.

Attended a reception and stayed here Friday to Sunday. All staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, rooms were nice, would recommend. Note - If staying here there isn't a lift to the rooms but if only attending an event it's all on the ground floor with no steps, including toilets.

The whole experience was outstanding. The staff were exceptional and made my wifes birthday really special. Food was beautiful and I had a cocktail which accompanied my meal perfectly. 100% recommend, also in a lovely location

Spent a very pleasant evening dining on the terrace of the Roslyn Beach Hotel.
Food and service first class.
Then moved into the bar for "one for the road". Great friendly relaxed atmosphere there too.
Altogether a faultless 5 star experience.

The place has a worthy 4 star rating. It is spotless. The rooms are clean, modern, very big with a bath and a walk in shower with a HDTV and fridge and iron included.
The restaurant has excellent food although very pricey (steak and chips, 2 drinks with a coffee £88+) but the staff and the outside terrace is excellent to eat breakfast and dinner too. Afternoon tea was a nice change (£36 each) very busy so book beforehand.
We stayed in a superior room with sea view but unfortunately we got the last room overlooking the restaurant roof with a balcony you could only just turn around in. A notice

This hotel is gorgeous. Although it is a bit of a walk from the pier/attractions, etc. it is a lovely walk along the seafront so you don't mind. The hotel has all the amenities, including a spa, the terrace is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Our king size, sea view room was large, clean and had everything we could have asked for.

Why then am I giving it only 2 stars? Due to our schedules, my husband and I very rarely get out of London and we were only able to have a 3 day break, meaning our second day was our only full day. We planned to sleep late, mabey

Excellent dinner and wonderful service! It's got a lovely atmosphere and huge portions of food, with a very well stocked bar. We went as a large group for my mum's 50th birthday and it was packed - very glad we booked! We were still very well looked after and they'd done is a set menu to order from specially for the evening. The staff were wonderful, cannot recommend highly enough! The car park is quite small though, so get there early!

The times I have been here it's all been great with lovely food and good service, can get busy at times which in turn can leave the car park at the rear of the building being left full and this is the only downside to the Roslin for me.

Great place to have a nice meal in the sun, although I do think its a bit expensive for self service at the bar for outside seating

The inside dinning area is a bit more of a posh affair with v nice food, but still on the tad pricy side for what you get. Cocktails are good (when they mix the one you actually ordered, on one occasion it took me a couple of attempts to get the correct cocktail)

Overall, food good, wine list good, cocktails good, great location on a sunny day and people are friendly. I just don't think the self service for outside seating and getting your own drinks warrants

I love most things about The Roslin. I love the house White, I love the food (especially the fish) and I love the conservatory over looking the seafront especially on a sunny day.

The service is good and they are attentive, especially towards little-uns. They provide crayons and a menu to colour in whilst they wait for their food.

We have also used the Roslin's function room to host my Mother in laws 60th party. It was a tad expensive but everything ran smoothly and the staff were very helpful.

My only gripe is the service can be slow when they are busy. At one dinner we were there

Patchy to say the least

We have eaten here 4 times in the last 6 months.

The food, on 2 occasions it was outstanding on 1 mediocre and the last time we went very poor.

The service has always been good, we seem to get the same waitress each time and she is lovely, friendly and lovely to our 9 year old daughter.

I would recommend the place without hesitation on a good day, but it has to be a good day

Lovely location and very comfortable though

Roslin Hotel has a well established restaurant open to non-residents. Now has a conservatory dining area with views over the estuary. Has Al a Carte menu in restaurant. More informal menu in conservatory. Nice venue for special occasion. Car park at rear of premises.
