All ages and abilities are welcome; from tiny tots (age 2 onwards) to adults who are as old as they feel. From lead rein to the more experienced rider, we have riding school horses and ponies to suit everyone. We offer a range of educational and fun activities for children. As a registered Pony Club Centre, children can work their way up through the Pony Club Tests, or just enjoy the fun Saddle Club activities.
For an extra special occasion why not book a Pony Party? Bulby Equestrian Centre came to life in 1999 as a competition livery yard and soon after became a BHS approved riding school. Privately owned by Sue and Jamie Bevan, the yard is nestled in the picturesque South Lincolnshire countryside, and offers a large mange, scenic hacking and ponies, and horses, available for all abilities, including disabled riding.

My grandparents introduced me to horses at a local show in Kenilworth. From then on riding lessons became the highlight of my week. After getting married and moving to Bulby I rekindled my passion for horses and was introduced to the world of eventing. The smell of horses, hay and leather always evokes happy childhood memories.
Riders of all abilities and ages are welcome at Bulby. Lessons run during the week and at weekends from morning through to the evening. Booking online allows clients to choose their preferred type of lesson, check the calendar for availability and select and pay for their ride. If you cannot find something that suits, please do call the yard to speak to a member of the team.
Led over all by Jade, who has her Pony Club AH test, and individually led by Jade, Jess and Sophei S we offer knowledgeable and excellent theory and practical training. Children meet on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30-7pm and Thursday 4-5.30pm to learn about pony care and gain achievement badges, such as grooming, poisonous plants, paddock management, lorinery, saddlery, and much more.
Saddle Club is fun, an interactive way for young riders to learn about stable management, yard activities and how to look after a pony. Members attend on Saturdays and/or Sundays and during the school holidays. Children get to join in with grooming, tacking up, leading, sweeping, feeding (but not making up feeds), watering, rug changing, turning out, tying ponies up, tack cleaning, assisting customers and supporting and encouraging each other.
