Why do we believe that? Well, there has been an abundance of recent research about how gum disease is linked to your health. In particular, serious conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, cardio vascular disease and stroke, dementia and Alzheimer's, to name just a few. By looking after your mouth, exercising and eating well there is no reason why you can't live a longer, healthier life.
Here at our Exeter dentist practice in the city centre, our approach to oral health means that your initial consultation will be very different to your usual dental experience. Before even looking in your mouth, we'll gather some background information about your overall health and give you a Mini Health Check to check your blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI.

I have never really liked going to the dentist, but life dental and well being has changed that for me. All their staff are so friendly and professional, they put you at ease and make you feel comfortable within a clinical environment. Ben, Alice and Hannah looked after me so well and they did such a fantastic job removing my wisdom teeth, which was done so quickly and pain free to my surprise. I could not recommend Ben and his team enough!

Been with the practice quite along time now, back when it was in the old premises. Would never think about going anywhere else. Only been NHS patient but can't fault the dentistry and friendly staff. A few years back had some traumatic root canal work done, staff were compassionate throughout and calmed my fears.
Lovely front of house when you arrive, big smile and relaxed mood. Makes the visit almost worth while 😂

Life Dental & Wellbeing have been my chosen dental practice for a couple of years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. During my recent appointment my dentist Camilla was faultless from start to finish. She had such a lovely calm manner and made me feel very relaxed in the chair. I highly recommend Camilla and the practice in general without doubt!

I have been referred to Ben for gum treatment due to his specialist knowledge in Periodontal work, after a detailed examination Ben went to great lengths to explain the problems and the type of treatment required. I found Ben to be professional and patient, the follow up letter breaking down my personal treatment plan with costs was much appreciated. Many thanks to Ben and the friendly team for your work, i would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone requiring dental treatment.

So grateful to the clinic! Had an emergency appointment to fix a damaged tooth. The team (Claire Jordan and assistant) were exceptionally professional, welcoming and reassuring. They spent a lot of time (45 mins) making my molar as good as new. The charge for such an excellent service was amazingly good value. Thank you!
