Granite and quartzstone are the materials most suited for use as kitchen work surfaces due to their resistance to scratching, staining and heat.
Many materials including Marble, Limestone, Travertine and Quartzstones are often used as surfaces in Bathrooms. We can fabricate these materials to form vanity tops, shelves, shower enclosures, shower trays, bath surrounds and wall panelling, we also supply tiles for walls and floors. Francis Tate Marbleworks offers a full templating and fitting service or we can also manufacture to your dimensions.
Stone and marble tiles provide a decorative and hard wearing surface for your home. Natural stone tiles or quartz composite tiles can be selected to complement your kitchen work surfaces, vanity top or other solid surfaces cut from slabs of stone. We supply many different types of materials in tile form and can offer expert advice on their suitability to various applications.
We manufacture in many materials suitable for commercial applications. External uses include steps, paving and cladding to shop fronts, hotel entrances and offices. Stones whether natural or composite materials are available for internal uses such as reception areas, counter tops, hotel furniture, W.C/ cloakroom areas, internal cladding and tiling.
Granite is a natural material formed from very hard minerals making it suitable for the use as kitchen work tops. Through our strong links with wholesalers in the U.K and abroad we are able to offer granites with a wide variety of colours and structures. These are ideally suited for kitchen tops, in bathrooms and for many other decorative uses.

This is the third time we have purchased granite from Francis Tate. Excellent service from start to finish. Danny helped us understand the different options. The templating team gave helpful suggestions on fine detail and came up with a brilliant solution for a difficult window sill. The worktops are finished to a high standard and the kitchen looks stunning.

Francis Tate in Worthing have just installed quartz worktops in my new kitchen and I couldn’t be happier. The finish of the stone is exquisite with beautiful smooth corners and edges throughout. Andy has been very helpful in the run up to installation answers all of my many and varied questions (sorry!) promptly and throughly. The fitters offered lots of expert advice to help guide me through the process and they were clean and tidy. I found the price to be very competitive and overall a very high standard of service. If you’re looking for new worktops or countertops then I definitely recommend
