I've enjoyed many years working in the tele-communications industry and I've seen the massive advances that have occurred since the very beginning when the Astra satellite was launched and satellite TV was born. When I was a boy growing up in Bradford there wasn't too much choice of what to watch on TV.
IRS stands for integrated reception system. An IRS system is the way to get satellite, TV, DAB/FM signals to be past into multiple points in apartment blocks, Hotels, Schools or any place requiring multiple signal points and the amount off points is endless. These guys are great. Had a new aerial fitted, aerial points put in and a tv wall mounted all in just over an hour.
Freesat - Freesat is slightly different from normal digital TV as it requires a satellite to be installed. It gives you much more channels, including HD ones for major channels, as well as local ones. The main advantage of Freesat over standard digital TV is that you can get it wherever you live. Aerial Waves offers satellite installation in Bradford and Huddersfield or any location in West Yorkshire.
On Freesat you get the geographical location brand of channels, more news channels than Freeview, and more shopping. Freesat has HD already, so you can watch BBCHD and ITV HD but you need a HD box in order to get HD. Freesat cannot be installed where a satellite dish cannot be installed, or has an obstruction such as a large building or mountain in the direction in which it needs to point to pick up.

Very impressed with the quality of work undertaken by Aerial Waves. A great father and son team who are very experienced and extremely polite, reliable and very reasonable. I had a Sky dish and aerial fitted. These guys were so good, my neighbor had work also done by this duo. I will definitely be using these guys again!
